REC Soccer

Fall 2016

When registering, please enter the grade that your son or daughter is entering in the 2016-17 school year.

Our soccer program is designed to help the kids learn and play the game as much as possible! We will have a paid trainer at the youngest age groups to help facilitate each session. The trainer will gather everyone together before each part of the training session to demonstrate the next part of the session. This means that you do not need any experience to coach!

All coaches will be volunteer coaches with a lot, a little, or no experience so all parents, players, and referees must respect and support the coach. Likewise, the coach should respect the players, parents and referees.

The children will meet for 1-2 hours per week depending on their grade. See below for more information.

Fall Soccer

Montgomery United’s recreational soccer program is primarily devoted to the enjoyment and development of soccer players without the emphasis on travel or high level competition. With divisions ranging from U6 through U19, the purpose of recreational soccer is to provide an opportunity for the participants to have fun, learn the sport and develop life skills including respect and responsibility.

Players are distributed equally among the teams and receive equal playing time during the games, regardless of their experience or ability level. Participants will also enjoy a weekend recreational tournament as well as an end of the year event to celebrate the season. Players can expect at least one scheduled practice a week and at least a 10 game schedule from late August to the end of October.

Some of the highlights of the MonU Fall recreational program include:

Divisions for both boys and girls ranging from U6 through U19

Professional trainers to facilitate practices (For Kindergarten through 4th Grade)

A Divisional Tournament

Uniform jersey
