MUSC Premier U15 Girl’s rank #1 in Eastern Pennsylvania Soccer
This team has grown and matured on the field, resulting in top rankings in the State, Region 1, and Nationally. Known as the ‘Black Storm’, the Montgomery United SC team has competed against top teams throughout the Region and Nation recently in various College Showcase Tournaments. Notable wins include victories over the #1 ranked teams of both Eastern New York and Eastern Pennsylvania. According to the nationally-recognized ranking service GotSoccer.com, the positive results in these tournaments changed the Black Storm ranking as follows:

Assistant Coach Steve Whitby attributes the team’s success to hard work, “these girls have come together individually and as a team to make a commitment to become better and they have succeeded”. The overall goal of the team is to re-take the State Championship crown in the Spring 2010. Head Coach Neil Johnson said, “the team is on its way to play well in State Cups, the goal of all competitive teams is to win their respective state and then compete Regionally and Nationally with the best of the sport.”

Girls U15 (1994/95)
Team is all about ‘Together Everyone Achieves More’
The MUSC Black Storm is a top ranked competitive team competing at the Premier level for both Seasonal play and Tournaments. Black Storm trains as part of the Montgomery United Soccer Club outside of Philadelphia in Montgomeryville, Pennsylvania.
The Black Storm competes in the Philadelphia Area Girls Soccer (PAGS) Premiership Barca division, the highest level within PAGS. During the past four years in this league, the Black Storm have competed well, reaching the playoffs twice and being crowned Champions once.
Tournament play for the Black Storm is by invitation only and competes in the top brackets to provide competitive play and showcase opportunities for College recruiters.
Black Storm Head Coach is Neil Johnson
Coach Johnson is an accomplished coach with over 19 years of Head Coaching experience at the youth, high school, ODP and college level. As an ‘A’ licensed Coach his experience results in a blend of off-field strategy and training with on-field tactical adjustments that encourage the girls to achieve success as a team.
In addition to Coach Johnson’s duties to the Black Storm he is also Head Coach of:
· North Penn High School Girls (7 years) and 2007 State semi-Finalists
· Gywnedd Mercy College Women (3 years) and 2008 Conference Finalists
